The GEM Board and designated member representatives met on November 7th & 8th, 2008 in Chicago for a Strategic Retreat. Michael Kaddatz, of ARM Tech, facilated the Board through its strategic sessions. The purpose of the retreat was to develop and define a set of goals and objectives that would allow management to create a new five year strategic plan for GEM. John Foehl, President & CEO of GEM, was pleased with the member participation and with the thorough discussions held at the meeting.
